“Moanful Man” – Freddie Keppard With Cook’s Dreamland Orchestra (1924)

For comparison/contrast use only. From the Swiss King Jazz CD series.

Composed by Gillespie-Baker-Cook. Gennett 5373-A; Richmond, Indiana, January 21, 1924: Freddie Keppard, Elwood Grahm-c/ Fred Garland-tb/Jimmie Noone, Clifford King-cl-as/Joe Poston-as/Jerome Pasquall-ts/Jimmy Bell-vn/Antonio Spaulding-p/Stan Wilson-bj/Bill Newton-tuba/Bert Green-d.
